The 100-km Translantau will cover the most scenic trails on South Lantau, for a cumulative elevation gain of 5,500 meters. This is a challenging trail run which requires adequate training to complete the full route within 33 hours. The route includes steep climbs and downhills, the highest climb being the Lantau peak (934m).
Qualifying Race UTMB 2017: 3 points (5 new)
Starting time and location: Friday March 10, 2017 at 23:30 pm (Time limit: 33h); Silver Garden, Mui Wo.
On-site check-in and bag drop will start on Friday at 17:00.
There are ferries (35min) from Central (Pier 6, schedule: FRIDAY 20:30 [slow ferry 55min], 21:20, 22:00) or Buses (45min) from Tung Chung MTR.
For overseas participants, Mui Wo is located at 40min from the airport. Check the location on the map. We provide a list of convenient hotels on Silvermine beach (start/end location), click here.
The route will be marked with Yellow ribbons and signs at intersections. There will be 9 refreshment points (see locations on map below) with drinking water, electrolytes, cold and hot food.

The maximum time allowed to complete is 33 hours. Cut-off at several check points are set accordingly to ensure that all runners cross the finish line within this time limit.
